In 2015, we were accredited by Best Companies for having good levels of colleague engagement, and feature on the 'Sunday Times Top 100 Not for Profit Companies to Work for' list. Best Companies is the largest survey of workplace engagement in the UK.

Our Mortgage Advice Service collected the 'Best Firm - Business Quality 2014' Award at the Mortgage Advice Bureau Conference.
'Financial Services Forum Awards' - November 2014
Best Integrated Marketing Campaign: for our ‘West Mids Force Pilot’. The Pilot tested how we can raise brand awareness within a force and has paved the way for further activity within other forces, the current ‘Win Christmas’ campaign incorporates many learnings from this highly successful pilot activity that was truly ground breaking for Police Mutual.
Best Digital Marketing Campaign: for our ‘Reconnecting with our Members’ campaign, which boosted our marketable email database, allowing us to reconnect with more of our members. This was a great ‘end piece’ to work that started in the data governance world some time ago and which touched a large number of departments in the business.
Our Reconnection campaign was also commended in the Customer Loyalty & Retention category. Judges were impressed by the campaigns' creativity, effectiveness on a small budget and focus on meeting the needs of our members.
'Corporate Engagement Awards' - June 2016
We are incredibly pleased to announce that we were awarded Gold in the ‘Best alignment of brand values during a CSR programme’ at the Corporate Engagement Awards in June 2016.
We won the award for the Force for Good campaign we launched in September 2015, which gave the Police Family the opportunity to apply for up to £1,000 funding from a pot of £50,000 provided by the Police Mutual Foundation. We received over 1,300 applications from every force in the UK – you can find out more about the projects we supported here.
The judges praised the campaign as a ‘Fantastic programme that has made a difference to the communities it works with’.
Well done to the entire team that helped to launch this fantastic initiative that will now run every February and September with funding from the Foundation. You can find out more about the awards here.
'Financial Services Forum Awards' - December 2016
We were incredibly pleased to win an award at the Financial Services Forum Awards in December 2016.
We won the Sponsorship category for sponsoring the Police Bravery Awards, this positioned us as a trusted member of the Police family and sent a clear message to our members and the Service that we understand the challenges they face everyday.
We were also commended in the Integrated Consumer category for our Force for Good campaign which supported over 150 local good causes and projects and demonstrated the value of our mutuality to our members.
We are delighted to announce that Police Mutual have been awarded second place in the Auto Express Best Car Insurers 2018 customer survey.
Auto Express asked their customers various questions as can be seen below and Police Mutual scored very high on all the levels of satisfaction. It’s always great to be recognised beyond the Police service publications and this further strengthens our message that we calculate that 1 in 17 of the UK adult population are eligible for our products and services, that’s over 3 million people!
A big well done to all of our colleagues across the business who support our Motor insurance offering, we hope the coverage of the survey results and our second place, will generate more enquiries!
We will be taking an advert out in the following week of Auto Express and have the ability to use our placement on marketing material going forward to keep spreading the good news!
